Refund policy

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.

We only accept returns for unopened security cameras, NVRs and hard drives within 14 days of receiving your products for a risk-free purchase.

*Some products e.g. special order products are excluded.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unopened, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Warranty

All of our products are covered by back to base manufacturer warranties, unless stated otherwise on its product description. You will find warranty periods displayed clearly on each product page.

It is limited to the original purchaser only and is not transferrable to any other party. It does not include damage to the item from incorrect installation or use. Please retain your proof of purchase email/receipt.

What can be returned?

You can return all approved item/s within 14 days of receiving them. If you are returning an item it must be in original, brand new condition. We kindly ask that you keep it in its original packaging. Please check your cameras to make sure they are not altered in any way with scuffs or scratches.

When do items need to be returned by?

You have 14 days from delivery date.

Where do items need to be returned to?

We will advise the most appropriate warehouse for you to return-ship the product to once you make contact with us.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, such as special orders (products that stated that they need 6-8 weeks lead time on the description) or personalised items (such as branded plates). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. 

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on gift cards.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Shipping For Returns

If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. Or you can contact us using the contact form here. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Returned delivery charges are not refunded as this is a service we do not provide ourselves. We use a shipping company that we pay the moment the item leaves our warehouses.

Make sure you include a copy of your order confirmation email along with information on the reason for your return and how we can help you.

Please keep a copy of your receipt of proof of shipment & tracking number for any returns back to Secure On. We recommend using a tracked delivery method to ensure your item arrives safe and sound.
